I could not have found this song at a better time. The song effectively shows the determination not to be deterred, but to turn up the order that’s been accepted for a long time. An order that the citizens, the people, do not like.

That is what the youth in Kenya believe they are doing, standing against those they believe to be thieves.

Should I hang my head low, should I Bite my tongue, or should I march with every stranger from Twitter to get shit done?

AJR producing this, I think, did not anticipate that it would one day relate to the happenings in Kenya, brought forth by youth that the Prez declared “criminals”. That’s right- criminal it is to practice a constitutional right, but not to lie to the citizens and serve your own interests. Turns do table, no?

This is a history in the making, and on which side will each party emerge? The winners write history, but I feel that 2M+ voices cannot be muffled by the bullets of bureaucracy.
